Marchesa Resort 2020

With Marchesa co-founder Keren Craig exiting the brand, this is the last collaboration with Georgina Chapman.

"Colored tulle and tumbling florals adorn the New York label’s latest lineup of romantic gowns, this season inspired by the joy of springtime. Ribbon details nod to the maypoles often used in European folk festivals, while metallic beaded lattice-work references traditional flower crowns." Moda Operandi.

Clothes are currently available for a limited time at the Moda Operandi trunkshow.

And if you should stop along the way to purchase something at Moda Operandi, please know that I’ll receive a small commission. It won’t increase your price a single cent, but it will help keep the fashion show going.

Sherri Hill Shows Her Fall/Winter 2019 Collection At New York Fashion Week

Sherri Hill’s Fall 2019 collection kicks off the show with dazzling embellished dollar signs on plush black velvet, a perfect representation of the overall theme-pure luxury. Geometric print beading in fun multicolor as well as classic black and white are reminiscent of the 80’s and 90’s, major trends for the season. Embellished head-to-toe animal print brings a sense of power and fierceness to the runway.” From Sherri Hill

“The featured colors this season–bright warm yellow, eccentric chartreuse green, and bold fuchsia–are as unique as the collection itself. Shades of blue also turn heads in this collection, from pale and icy to rich sapphire. Deep red gowns with gold beading emulate the opulence of Baroque fashions. Light and airy chiffon skirts walk alongside fitted gowns dripping in sparkle. Unique necklines flatter the décolletage and deliver high fashion elegance. The show’s finale gowns include sheer ivory and nude, as we’ll as the major show stopper–metallic pale gold.” From Sherri Hill
