Atelier Pronovias presented it's 2016 Collection under the theme “Once Upon a Time” at the Fashion Show in the Oval Room of the Museu Nacional d’ Art de Catalunya in Barcelona. The collection is inspired by fairytale princesses and features designs with pure lines, volume and delicate details. The gowns have plunging fronts and backs, that fade into the body thanks to a sophisticated layering design in which nude color crystal tulle fabrics come together to create a second-skin effect.
Fine materials such as crêpe, organza, cotton pique, mikado and organza silk show their rich nuances, without leaving aside the company’s signature lace, with the additional proposal of chantilly lace as an alternative to crystal tulle. The collection is completed with tiaras and jewelled headdresses with over 300 hand-applied pieces in aged silver.
Irina Shayk closed the show on Friday night in a truly breathtaking mermaid-style gown that shaped her figure to perfection, and was finished off with a flowing train that trailed behind her as she strutted up and down the runway.
